Same Brain

A prompt pops up on every phone: a yellow fruit, something in a fridge, the first thing you think of when someone says Paris. Everyone types one word at the same time, then the answers land in piles. The biggest pile scores, anyone else who matched a friend scores too, and whoever stands alone drinks. Nobody matched anybody? BRAIN FREEZE: everyone drinks. Everyone said the same thing? SAME BRAIN, big points for all.

It is fast: fifteen seconds to type, a few to laugh at the piles, next. About one prompt in four is a four-way tap instead (best pizza topping, worst chore). The matcher forgives plurals, typos and synonyms, and the host can merge two piles that mean the same thing. Over 1,000 prompts, an After Dark 18+ mix, 10, 15 or 20 prompts a game, and awards at the end for the Hive Mind, the Lone Wolf and the Soulmates of the night.
